The overall scores below and the individual parameter scores are determined by analyzing an entire year’s worth of water quality data collected at each of our 49 monitoring stations. Scores are out of 100 possible points and reflect ecological health based on MTAC protocol.

Report Card

Blue Water Baltimore’s ambient water quality monitoring program has expanded in scope since the Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper first began collecting bacteria data in 2009. Since that time, our monitoring program has grown to encompass 27 stations in the Gwynns Falls and Jones Falls watersheds and 22 stations in the tidal Patapsco River and its tributaries.
